The cleanser is very mild but still effective. Salicylic acid is a BHA and is therefore a chemical form of exfoliation. BHA reduces oil and works not only on the skin’s surface but also penetrates deeper and loosens impurities in pores and treats blemishes. This is why BHAs are chosen for those with normal-to-oily and clogged skin. BHAs have naturally soothing properties, as well as anti-inflammatory and antibacterial activity, and can therefore benefit those sensitive to redness and rosacea. Suits all skin types.
